Wild, beautiful, and sparsely populated, Connemara, extending from Galway to the Atlantic Ocean, is Ireland at its most rugged and elemental. The indented Atlantic coastline is interspersed with beaches and seaside hamlets, while the interior encompasses bog, mountains, lakes, and empty valleys where sheep outnumber people.

Lovely Connemara
Overall, the tour was great and worth it to Connemara and Kylemore Abbey. My favorite part was actually meeting the sheep post Kylemore. However, I do want to be transparent, the bus wasn’t in the best condition. While the driver was lovely, and knowledgeable, It seemed like the bus wasn’t clean and the bathroom gave it a weird smell. If you get car sick, the road back from Connemara is very bumpy. Just fyi.

Connemara will pleasantly surprise you!
The day trip to Connemara was enhanced by the knowledge provided by our amazing guide Paddy! Even though we weren’t able to hike the trail within the national park due to the nonstop rain, we enjoyed our visit to Kylemore Abbey. It’s definitely a hidden gem. This tour is also less popular than the Cliffs of Moher, however it was equally enjoyable!

Great Trip in Connemara
We had an amazing trip with a great guide Patrick and driver, Pavel. Patrick was really knowledgeable of the area and provided a lot of insight. I really appreciate that the company was upfront ahead of time about the trails that were closed at Connemara National Park before we began and even offered to refund us because of the storm damage. We still took the tour and had an amazing time seeing Connemara and the Kylemore Abbey. I would definitely recommend them.

Great countryside experience!
This is a really nice tour! The sheepdog experience and castle are the highlights and make it worth the trip. The guide was very informative and the views of Connemara were spectacular - even on a rainy day.
