What To Expect

When in Ireland, it’d be a shame to miss visiting the most famous castle, Blarney Castle, and kissing the Blarney Stone to receive “the gift of gab for seven years.” This hassle-free group tour takes you there, plus to several other highlights around Cork and Tipperary.

You’ll meet your guide and driver at the easy to locate departure point, and then you can get settled into your air-conditioned bus with Wi-Fi to keep you connected. Your guide will provide commentary along the way, and give you way more information than any guide book could.

Your driver will take you to Blarney Castle and gardens, to Cork for a comprehensive city tour, and also to the Rock of Cashel to learn about its rich history and take photos of its medieval architecture.

You don’t need to worry about logistics or navigating the narrow roads. Just relax and soak up the Irish sites and stories.

I loved the tour and our driver Sean was not only informative but enjoyable. The castles were probably the most impressionable I’d seen. The city of Cork is beautiful. We were only there an hour, which for me was enough for a quick stop. Reality is, that if you want to see more of the city you need to at least stay 1-2 days. The whole day was outstanding and I would recommend this tour and driver. So far Paddywagon tours have been very favorable. I have not been disappointed.

Great tour
David_Q, Jan 2025
Tour was excellent and our guide Brian was very knowledgeable and educational. Would go again if the opportunity arose
Great a day road trip
Tan_M, Jan 2025
The castle and entertained by our tour guide with his knowledge and jokes! if only the meeting point can be improve; at least sponsor a bench with "PaddyWagon" sign so that everyone are not frustrated searching for the meeting spot. If possible, please add Irish song/music in between instead of silence. For example like the Rabbie Tour in Glasgow.
Dublin to Blarney Castle & Cork
Jennifer_M, Jan 2025
It’s a long trip but worth it to see Blarney Castle. It was too cold and icy to do the Rock of Cashel which was disappointing but no one’s fault. Bus driver and guide, David, did a great job. If we did it again I would probably skip Cork as we really only saw the food court on the water.
Tour Guide made this day and the countryside beautiful. Must do tour.
Janice_P, Jan 2025
JJ the guide was excellent we only had 6 on the tour which was great as it was very relaxed no rushing. The snow fall stopped us going to the first castle but I am not complaining as it meant we got to stop at the bottom of the hill and play in the snow which was the highlight for me. Kissing the Blarney Stone as scary as it was just made the trip.
Snow made it difficult

Frank was entertaining and was very friendly. Although I didn’t like that it was snowing so we didn’t get to see Rock of Cashel but that was Mother Nature ❄️❄️❄️🥶🥶🥶
Fun trip!

Alex was very informative. Enjoyed all the stops even in the rain for the last 2 in Cork and Blarney.

Great family fun.

Great experience and value for family of five. Especially enjoyed Rock of Cashel and Blarney Castle. Our driver/narrator, Dave, got us around safely and kept us entertained plan informed throughout the day.
Highly Recommend
Deborah_S, Dec 2024
Our driver/tour guide - Dave- was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of history with us.
Very nice (long) day
Taylor_V, Dec 2024
It was a great tour! I loved that we got to see both the countryside and the city. It is a long day though (~12 hrs), so be mentally prepared for that.
Dangerous but worth the trip
Simon_B, Dec 2024
I arrived at Blarney Castle and found the winding steps extremely dangerous and you could only ascend up the stairs with a rope and you had to watch your step or otherwise you could easily fall backwards and break a leg! There needs to be more health and safety measures put in place to make the winding staircase safer for the public. All in all it was an exhilarating experience. I was taken aback by the ruins of the castle and the quality of the stone masonry work which went into establishing the castle which had the presence of a fort or watch tower.
Consider Options
Victoria_T, Dec 2024
Blarney Castle and kissing the Blarney Stone was by far the highlight. Seeing the rock of cashel was interesting but you can see it all in less than 10 minutes. Cork was a bust - waste of time. The “guide” was really a driver who took us to/from places. Everything was on our own at the sites. He narrated while we was driving but very long-winded.
Fun day seeing interesting old things
Andrew_C, Dec 2024
Iif you like seeing on castles, relics, and beautiful gardens then I recommend. It was also neat to see central Cork.

Alex was fantastic and had some great commentary. Overall we had a very enjoyable day touring Ireland!
Below average tour, guide and cramped mini bus, but destinations were great
Rich_C, Dec 2024
The destinations were excellent. But the mini bus was cramped, hot and stuffy, and the driver/guide offered the bare minimum of information. So the tour was below average, but being December there were no tourists at these great sites which was awesome.
Blarney Castle
Manjula_N, Dec 2024
Our trip to Rock of Cashel was enjoyable, we did not climb the fligjt of stairs in the castle to kiss the Blarney rock as my knees hurt
Blarney Castle, Rock of Cashel and Cork city tour.

Patrick was a great guide. Highly entertaining, knowledgeable about Cork, Blarney Castle and Rock of Cashel. Highly recommend Patrick and this tour
Awesome day in the country
Terry_S, Dec 2024
Fantastic places to visit and made all the more fabulous by Dave from Paddy tours our driver and guide. The long day was well structured for breaks. It was a long day, but a great way to see southern part of Ireland.
It was nice to see all...
Maggie_K, Dec 2024
It was nice to see all the sights and explore the countryside but there wasn't much time to do activities once we were at them. I felt rushed everywhere I went.
