What To Expect

Make an early start and depart from central Dublin for your full-day tour of Ireland’s western wonders. Soak up the scenery on the drive to the west coast, then wind along the dramatic coast of the Wild Atlantic Way.

Jump out to snap photos of the striking Dunguaire Castle, a 16th-century tower perched on the seafront just north of Kinvara, then continue to Doolin. Enjoy free time to explore the quaint fishing village and tuck into some lunch (own expense)—perhaps try the famous seafood chowder at Gus O'Conner's or a pint of Guinness at Fitzgerald’s pub.

With your appetite sated, continue to The Burren and explore the otherworldly karst landscape, renowned for its exotic plants and colorful orchids. Finally, head for the day’s star attraction, the Cliffs of Moher, and enjoy ample time to walk along the 702-foot (214-meter) tall cliffs and gaze out over the rugged Atlantic coast. Admire jaw-dropping views of the Aran Islands and Galway Bay, then learn more about the geological wonder at the Atlantic Edge Exhibition and Visitor Centre.

After a full day on the west coast, journey back to Dublin and end your tour in the city center.

A lot of driving. The stops are for about 20 minutes. Our guide told us nothing about the Cliffs of Moher. It was an okay tour.
Wonderful!

Michael and Liam were wonderful - funny, kind, informative..a wonderful day. Niot a fan of where we stopped for lunch (stonewall). Expected in to be in Doulin. Meal was expensive, more like a cafeteria and we ate little of what we got. But that did not impact our lovely memory of the day.

Great experience for someone who is on a limited time frame. We traveled from DUBLIN. FYI there are no toilets on board. That was the only downside.
Nice day teip from Dublin

Nice trip. Very well scheduled. Long day but worth it. Enough stops and enough time at the Cliffs of Moher.

It was absolutely beautiful. The bus driver Ian was great and couldn't have asked for a better day with family.

Wonderful trip. Perfect time between stops. We got to see a TON of things. The driver was informative, efficient, and drove very well. WELL worth the time and a HUGE value for the cost. Sean was wonderful!
Breathtaking

This was such a worth-it trip. Despite the several hours in the bus (with bathroom breaks), the end result of the cliffs was more than enough reward. The cliffs were breathtakingly beautiful, much more incredible in person than I anticipated. The weather cleared up leaving the landscape illuminated in sun. The pathway along the cliffs allowed for quite the view, along with photos, and the tower was a nice little addition. The gift shop was fun with a lot of things to look at and choose from. After the cliffs, our driver took us to a delicious restaurant in Liscannor and then allowed us to stop in Bunratty to get ice cream and do a little shopping. Overall, the day was very enjoyable and I’d definitely recommend this tour. Also, our driver/guide, Richard, was absolutely delightful and helped settle a disturbance with some unruly passengers.

Frank, our driver and guide was a hoot. He had great stories and info for us. He made the trip more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!
Not as advertised
Edwina_M, Oct 2024
Got to meeting point and there were signs on 3 trees to indicate where to “line up”. Boarding was disorganized. No proper queue just a mob of people trying to get on bus then being directed to a second. There was no “professional” guide, driver gave minimal commentary. Changes to itinerary w/o explanation (skipped Doolin), lunch was a specific restaurant for 40 mins no opportunity to wander or eat elsewhere (soup, entree, beer €36). The 20 min at Bunratty barely time to walk to castle, see outside and back, if you wanted a snack/ice cream, then no time to see castle. Drop off point was at Temple Bar not at origin (as advertised).

Sean, our guide was great. He gave great insight along the way, but gave us the freedom we wanted once on different sites. He dove deeper into Irish culture and current events. We were also lucky and had great weather, which made for phenominal pictures.

The tour is a long one. You will be driven 300km/186.5 miles. However, The Cliffs of Moher are beautiful and it was worth every mile. Lots of comfort stops. Great experience. Highly recommend.

David was an excellent tour guide. His narrative of sights along the way was just enough valuable information without too much detail. He was personable and patient. We stopped to stretch our legs, get lunch, snacks, potty breaks etc. It was a memorable experience. Miriam

A wonderful day spent exploring the Cliffs of Moher and other areas. Our guide/ driver Richard was a lot of fun and shared a lot on the history. The only downside was when we reached the second castle, it was just 30 minutes and we didn’t get a chance to go up the castle and explore.
