What To Expect

Emerge early, make your way to your chosen meeting point, and depart Dublin by comfortable coach with climate control and onboard Wi-Fi.

Receive an interesting introduction to Northern Ireland’s turbulent history from your guide, and then arrive at Titanic Belfast, an engaging exhibition opened on the 100-year anniversary of the liner’s tragic sinking.

Stroll through galleries that speak eloquently of the tragic tale and learn about the construction and poignant fate of the colossal ship. Immerse yourself in interactive displays that take you to the depths of the ocean and discover state-of-the-art technologies that help explore it.

Next, travel to the rugged Northern Irish coast. Savor a section of the Antrim Coast Road's spectacular scenery before stopping to explore the romantic ruins of 15th-century Dunluce Castle, featured in hit TV show, "Game of Thrones".

On arrival at the Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, enjoy some leisurely free time to explore the distinctive rock formations and volcanic paths independently. There are plenty of food options here should hunger strike.

Once you’re done, return to Dublin by coach, seeing more of the Antrim Coast Road en route. You’ll be dropped at a slightly different but equally central location, a few minutes’ stroll from where you met the coach.

Book with this tour company, you won’t regret it! We had the best experience
Valerie_D, Jan 2025
Dathi and Krishna were the best! Dathi was entertaining and informative and had a great playlist for the ride featuring Irish singers. We had plenty of time at each location along with a chance to grab a delicious lunch at a cozy restaurant called the Nook. Ultimately we opted to take the Black Taxi tour once in Belfast. Wow what a great chance to see and hear the history of Belfast! With all the choices you have in tours, this is the best!

History of an Irishman
Kristina_E, Dec 2024
Enjoyed the attractions especially the Titanic Museum and the Giant's Causeway. Slept through the majority of the tour dialogue, the guide spoke more about his personal history rather than Irish history... wasn't a fan.
Response from Host, Dec 2024
Hi Kristina, Thank you for your review. Delighted you enjoyed the Titanic Museum, it is very impressive, especially the newest addition the 9th gallery. Giants Causeway is also special. I am sorry to read you were not a fan of your Guide on the day, that is unfortunate. I will look into this feedback. Hopefully it wont put you off travelling with us again in the future. Kind regards, Jacqueline
A very interesting insight to Belfast
Robert_M, Dec 2024
Enjoy a bus drive with a guide speaking about Irish life and politics. At Belfast, pick a cab ride to see locations of "the troubles" or visit the "Titanic Experience." We did the Titanic, but the black cab ride was equally intriguing. I wish we could have done both.
Response from Host, Dec 2024
HI Robert, Unfortunately timings dont allow for us to visit both attractions, hopefully your Guide gave you some insightful information about Belfast and what to expect from a Black Taxi ride. Glad you enjoyed the day. Thank you for taking the time to post your review. Kind regards, Jacqueline
Great day trip from Dublin
Michelle_D, Dec 2024
This was such a great excursion! The tour guide Elisa was so friendly and knowledgeable, and driver Podge did a great job being timely and driving safely. I highly recommend the Titanic Museum, it was absolutely outstanding, and very informational about Belfasts industrial history and about the titanic and its survivors! The Giants Causeway was absolutely gorgeous! But definitely wear good shoes for the slippery and muddy terrain, and something warm for the high winds. We took the easy route, part of the difficult route and saw so many gorgeous sites! Luckily there was a shuttle bus there as well :) Thank you Wild Rover Tours!
Response from Host, Dec 2024
And thank you too Michelle for your lovely review. Elisa and Podge will be delighted to read your wonderful comments. I agree the Titanic museum is outstanding, i loved every minute it , especially the newest addition. very emotional but so interesting at the same time. Again thank you for taking the time to post your review. we hope to see you on another tour soon. Kind regards, Jacqueline

A lovely bit of Ireland
Romina_S, Nov 2024
Very profesional guide who is helpful and funny at the same time. Had a lovely time with this tour. We were given ample time to each place to enjoy and take picture and Brandon gave us tips on what to eat ( Irish lamb stew) and where to get it cheaper. Overall i would love to take another tour with this company
Great All-Day Trip
Sasha_B, Nov 2024
Must do! Great way to see Northern Ireland in a day. We were surprised how much we enjoyed the castle ruins. It’s a long day and we wished we had some more time at the 3 stops but 13 hours was the max I would have wanted to spend as there is a lot of driving on the bus. Encourage others to try this excursion! It was cold in Nov so if you go in the winter make sure to bundle! Murphy and Sarah were great!
Singing guided tour!
Jeanne_B, Nov 2024
Singing David and driving Marco were excellent guides. I would highly recommend this tour. There were great insights into Irish history peppered with corresponding traditional Irish tunes sung by our guide David
Excellent

Wonderful day with David who was very knowledgeable and helpful ! He’s even a great singer. Highly recommend the tour
Great day up North!
calvin_h, Nov 2024
Dave (our guide) and Sarah (our driver) made this an outstanding day trip! Their authentic personalities made it a fun day and exciting day. The Titanic was well worth the trip by itself and we enjoyed the history of it and left wanting more time there. Dunluce Castle was a pleasant surprise and Giant’s Causeway is a gem. We were not sure about the thirteen hours at first, but it was a great investment of time.

Loved the whole thing! Dathi and Brian were amazing guides - especially loved the stories and music.
Recommend!
Michelle_S, Nov 2024
Tour guide, Dave, and driver, Brian, are the best. It was a last minute decision to take the tour of Dublin to Belfast and we are glad we did. Definitely recommend!
To the North!
Deborah_S, Nov 2024
Maurice was such a funny and interesting tour guide. Michael did a great job driving the bus for many many hours. The history of North of Ireland was fascinating to learn about from locals.
Great way to see & learn about Giant's Causeway and other sites in Northern Ireland....even if you're staying in Dublin!
Jennifer_A, Nov 2024
I am so glad I choose to take this tour with this company! I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to see Giant's Causeway since I was staying in Dublin, but this tour offered me an opportunity to see it, along with several other places, and provided a lot of interesting information! I went for this tour on Oct 30, 2024. I am horrible with names, so I cannot remember our guide or driver's names, but they were FANTASTIC! This was a "big bus" tour. The driver was really good! He managed to keep us all feeling completely safe (even with "other tourists" driving on the wrong side of the road - which would have been me if I had rented a car). The guide was fantastic! She told us about the history, legends, and little tidbits all along the way. I especially appreciate her explaining the tension between Northern Ireland and Ireland without projecting any bias. I'm sure it's a hard and awkward topic to talk about, but I'm really glad she went into detail about the specifics and provided prospective from both sides! I can't say enough about this tour, the company, and the guides! It was absolutely AMAZING and 100% worth spending a day doing (and the money)!
Belfast - black taxi and giants causeway
Ben_T, Nov 2024
The whole tour was great. We had the dream team of Sarah and Elisa. Both top notch. Got lucky and had the option between titanic museum and black cab tour. Chose the black cab and wasn’t disappointed. The best tour I’ve ever been on. Extremely powerful and moving. The things our guide went through during the Troubles is unimaginable. If you do anything the north of Ireland it should be this tour.
